Terms and Conditions

A deposit equal to the cost of one night's stay will be required to confirm your reservation following acceptance of a booking enquiry, this can either be paid by cheque made payable to Clevedon Hotel, by all major debit, credit and charge cards or online.

   

Please note that from the 14 February 2006 it is essential to use your PIN for any chip and PIN card transactions. We will also require your card security number (last 3 or 4 digits printed on the signature strip) if you wish to pay over the phone or via email.

All prices quoted are for bookings made with the Clevedon Hotel directly and include VAT at the current rate. For bookings made via a third party booking agent, the guest is liable for any commission fees charged by the agent.

When intending to settle your account in full by cheque payment, a cheque to the full amount must be presented at least 4 working days prior to the date of your departure; this can be sent ahead of you by post if necessary.

If you or anyone you are booking the accommodation for has any special dietary needs or is vegetarian etc., then please advise us at the time of your booking enquiry else we may not be able to satisfy your requirements.

Please note that from 1 July 2007 the Smoke-free (Premises and Enforcement) Regulations became law in England. We therefore do not permit smoking anywhere other than outside the building or on the Sun Terrace. Failure to comply with this may lead to prosecution and fines of up to £200 under current law.

We apologise that no pets are allowed.

If you make a booking enquiry, we will treat you as having consented to our using your personal data in the manner described in our Privacy Policy.

Cancellation

We require 5 days notification of any cancellation in writing; failure to do so within this period, or not informing us at all, will incur a charge of 100% of the rate quoted for the period cancelled. Should the Clevedon be able to re-let the room then the cancellation fee will be waived, subject to loss of deposit.

Should you need to cut short your visit you may be liable for supplementary charges equal to the value of a single night's stay.

As with any booking of this nature we also recommend you take out holiday insurance.

Check-in

Please note that our check-in times are from 15:30 to 22:30.
